During her lifestyle session, this little one wanted to party instead of sleep during her newborn portrait session!  She made sure to keep an eye on us most of the time :).  I love the contemporary look of this session at home, from the nursery to the outfits to the accessories we chose for her.  Elegant, sweet and timeless!  Of course, she couldn’t resist my sleepy vibes (or Grandma’s hair dryer trick – we swear by the Baby Shusher!) and we did end up with some great sleeping shots.  Grandparents are such an important part of a new baby’s life!  They can be so helpful to new parents, even if it’s just lending a hand with laundry or dinner.  During a session, I love to hand off the baby to Grandma for soothing in between set-ups.  They always have their own tricks for getting little one’s to sleep.  They can also be helpful if there is a toddler or older sibling around.
