We’ll save a time based on your due date, then chose a specific day/time once your baby is born. I see only one newborn per day and only a few per week to allow for flexible scheduling for your family. Our goal is to see you within the first two weeks, but can get the ”newborn” look up to around 4-6 weeks (after that, they don’t fit in our baskets but are still adorable for ”baby” photos).

All purchased artwork comes with the matching digital files for safe keeping, online sharing, and gift printing. We also have collections that feature small prints with the matching digital files.

Before your session, we will have a phone consultation to help you prepare and begin thinking about what you’ll want to do with your portraits. This also includes helping you with what to wear, how to get baby ready (it’s easy!), and other suggestions to help the session go smoothly.
After your session, we’ll meet again in your home for a design/ordering appointment where you’ll be able to see your proofs and samples.

Don’t worry! As much as possible, I like to use the natural elements and light in your home but I also bring portable studio lighting which allows me to create beautiful images in any part of your home (and on dreary days). If you’d rather not feature your home, we can always crop in and focus on your relationships. We can also take elements that you do like and rearrange a bit to create an area that highlights them.

I have over 18 years of photographing newborns in their homes. I’m safety trained, fully vaccinated and specialize in newborn photography. I practice ”baby-led” posing which means that I let the baby guide me into what is comfortable for them.
