and we are busier than ever!  Every year I say I’m going to not take sessions over Thanksgiving, and every year I’m glad I did!  Who could resist such a sweet little face, and darling holiday outfit.  She’s also a new baby planner, so I’ll get to see her two more times!!

I remember bringing my first little baby boy home from the hospital, thinking that I had to take in every detail of my perfect little creation.  I couldn’t believe that we had made such a beautiful little thing!  I was careful to document every little change and milestone, but would I really remember?  Then the days and nights became one long blur of  feedings, changings, and attempts to sleep.  Of course, the sweet smiles and baby smells made it all worth while!  Now my babys are big and I cherish every image I have of them!  

Newborn sessions are best held within the first 5-10 days and are much more likely to happen then if we set it up while you are still pregnant.  If you miss that window, don’t worry, I will always make room in my schedule for you!  

When I tell people that I do most sessions in or around their home, they often reply that they don’t feel they have anywhere to do portraits!  This is a great example of a session done in the backyard using the surrounding greenery.  Of course, a willing baby (and dog) model and great clothing choices also help make for darling images!
